Raven 2024 / Update 11

We have had a very busy few days as the puppies turn 4 weeks old and we started our first visits! Weaning is continuing beautifully and Raven is going in to feed them about 4-5 times a day now.

Here we have big sister Keiko babysitting! She absolutely adores them and she’s definitely going to give Raven a run for her money for being the best mum ever when her time comes next year!

The pups have now started exploring out of the playpen and will start going outside now that the torrential rain has stopped!

Raven 2024 / Update 10

Just a little update, but we are so proud of how well weaning is going! Super organised and all finished at the same time 😁 aren’t they adorable lined up at the weaning station! 🤎🐾

Raven 2024 / Update 9

We have had a very busy week! As Raven’s box of chocolates turned 3 weeks old, it was time for their first round of wormer, which naturally doesn’t ever go down very well 😝 along with this weaning commences. We start them off of fish puppy nuggets to get them used to chewing and now we are mixing these with mashed up kibble, by 4 weeks they will be on three of these meals a day and we also welcome our first visitors on Saturday. 

They are well and truly up and active now. Let the carnage begin! 😂 🐾

Raven 2024 / Update 8

19 days old and we have a long video for you! The pups are all very active now and up on their feet, it’s such an adorable stage seeing them start to play with the first toys 🥰

Raven continues to be the best mum looking after her babies. She is spending about 3 hours at a time out of the box before going in to clean and feed them as they approach weaning which starts on Friday, along with the first round of their worming routine.

Now that their ears are open, sound desensitisation has also begun on a low volume to start with, we will slowly increase the volume over the next few weeks. It’s going to be a very busy weekend for us as we start the weaning process and start gearing up for our puppy visitors next weekend 😁

Raven 2024 / Update 7

2 weeks old today! Everyone is doing brilliantly, all of the pups have tripled their birthweight and are literally the size of 3 week olds 😅 all have their eyes open now. Also now that they can see, we have removed the rails in the box to give Raven and the pups more room.

Raven 2024 / Update 6

12 days old today, continuing to see big weight gains, with everyone on track to triple their birth weight at 2 weeks old. We have some right porkers here 😝 these are officially our biggest pups to date!

Raven is spending a little bit of time out of the box now, going about 2 hours between feeds. She has maintained her attentiveness and continued to be an amazing mum. These babies are going to be stunners!
