The puppies are now 6 weeks old and have come on so much over the past week. They are incredibly active now, constantly on the move, playing, exploring and interacting with each other. It’s a really busy stage, and their individual personalities are becoming clearer each day.
They’re much more confident and curious, enjoying their toys and the space around them, and you’ll see in the video just how lively they’ve become. There’s a lot more coordination now too, with plenty of chasing, pouncing and general puppy chaos.
We had visits last week at 5 weeks, which went really well, and it was so lovely to meet all of the new families. It’s always a special milestone, and it’s nice for everyone to make real connections with the puppies.
They’re continuing to thrive with weaning, they’re eating their kibble completely dry now and increasing those lovely chunky weights, and overall they’re progressing exactly as we would hope at this stage.
We’re really enjoying this phase, even if it’s a little more full on. We’ll continue to share updates at the next big milestone, which is their 7 week old temperament tests!
They really are getting in so well.
