Raven 2023 / Update 5

We are 1 week old today! 😄 Raven’s box of chocolates are all developing fabulously. They’re putting on loads of weight and are all set to double their birth weight within the next couple of days. As you can hear from the video, Raven lets her milk down for quite a while and even for a 2nd time! This always lets us know that the pups are getting enough which is such a relief. 

Raven is spending a little more time out of the box now and is going about an hour between feeds, but still being the best mum we could hope for ❤️

Raven 2023 / Update 4

Our first video update of many to come!

The pups are all doing amazing. We weigh them all morning and night to ensure that no one is missing out and every single one of them is having well above the expected gain per day which is fantastic! Raven clearly has lots of milk which is always a relief.

Raven continues to be an amazing mum, shuffling her body so everyone can get on with little help from us. Attentive as always and in very high spirits 😄 we’re so proud of her, she really is such a natural mum!

Raven 2023 / Update 3

Just a little update for you all. Raven and her box of chocolates are doing fantastic. Raven is once again being the bestest mum ever. So attentive to every one of the pups and shuffling herself over so that they can all get on by themselves without needing us to pop them on 😝

All of the pups have had good weight gains and in line with expectations. They’re very content and relaxed, not too much noise from these little ones… yet! 😅

Raven 2023 / Update 2

So we believe Raven is all finished now! She delivered 9 gorgeous chocolates in record breaking time, 3 hours! We’ve never had a birth any quicker than 4.5 hours 😅 we’re just glad that we’re so experienced in dog midwifery, otherwise we would probably have become flustered if it was our first time 😝

We were surprised to see no apricots/creams as both Raven and Tulley do carry the gene! So we have a lovely box of chocolates and a couple of them have a caramel tone to them, notably Miss Yellow 💛 we suspect her twin Miss Lime 💚 stole all her colouring 😂

Raven has done fantastic with the delivery and amazingly doesn’t appear to be exhausted at all! She’s already had a lovely bowl of scrambled eggs and sardines with glucose powder for energy and is now settled down in the freshly made up whelping box feeding her gorgeous furbabies 🥰

Raven 2023 / Update 1

We’ve spent the whole day setting up the whelping room and getting all our vet bedding and supplies set up! Raven is due 1 week today 😁 she’s been going into the whelping room for a couple of days and laying down, so we think she remembers from last time that’s where the magic happens 😝 and all the other dogs are all curious with their faces pressed up against the gate 😂

We can’t wait to welcome these gorgeous furbabies into the world 🥰

Bella 2022 / Update 14

It has been very difficult saying goodbye to this litter, they really have been amazing and a perfect final litter for Bella 🥰 Three of these puppies have gone to previous puppy owners from Gypsy, Bella and Raven’s litters. There is no greater complement than having families come back to us for another fur baby 🥰 Everyone has left us for their lovely forever homes and the house feels empty! We’re sad to see you all go but we can’t wait to see all of your updates 😁
