As a family we had spent a considerable amount of time thinking about bringing a dog into our family for the first time and after much research decided on a Labradoodle. We could not have been more fortunate when we discovered Sunstrider Labradoodles. From the first phone call with Jake it was evident that Jake and Karen cared deeply about the dogs and were extremely knowledgeable. When we met Jake and Karen in person for the first time they welcomed us into their home and patiently answered many questions. The time, energy and love they put in to caring for their dogs was clear to see. I don't think I could ever have chosen between Bella's beautiful babies so was happy to leave it to Jake, Karen and Helen to decide. They made the perfect choice for us.

As a mum to 3 boys, the eldest of whom was 7, I had strong misgivings about giving into the pressure from them and my husband about getting a dog. My professional circumstances had changed, meaning I was working from home, and to them this was the last obstacle gone to fulfilling their dream. My house was already chaotic, certainly little obedience from the boys, and I feared a dog would add to our busy lives. BUT... I was tempted. We live our lives outdoors, when holidaying, it's UK campsites... So, I researched. I researched breeds and breeders and all the pros and cons. I finally settled on a Labradoodle and found Jake's ad. I was very prepared to ask all the 'right' questions to weed out any puppy farmer and as such, was a little startled, on my first call, to feel as if I were being interviewed and not the other way around.
